When Google couldn’t stop innovation, it began to hire humans to do it. It invested heavily in tools that were meant to be used by thousands of team members. The purpose of WeSpam and QualityRater teams was to penalize content, so that it cannot get ranking. The main focus was to sacrifice quality and maintain its paid customers on front page.
These quality raters and so-called spam fighters were assigned a task to prevent good content from getting the ranking. They do so clicking through tasking orders provided by Google. It gives algorithm the signal to rate the webpage as risky.
To sum it up, until search customers are as fool as machines, RankBrain will be outsmarted by SEOBrain. The reason is SEO’s out there follow what the people want and Google’s algorithms just monetizes it.
